Imagine living in your dream house without the burden of a mortgage. No need for an alarm clock or dealing with a boss and bills. Your time is your own, to spend as you choose. Each morning, your income surpasses what you used to earn in an entire week at your previous job. Parked in your garage is a luxurious car, a symbol of victory that your once-fantastic dreams are now alive and thriving in reality.
Believe me, this life exists. I know because it has been mine for nearly two decades. And in just a few short years, it can be yours too. The best part is, you won't need to endure five grueling decades of thankless jobs, suffocating frugality, or relying on Wall Street's guidance for patient investing.
Unfortunately, you've been led to believe that such a life is unattainable or only achievable for a select few. Society has scripted you to think that you need a specific college degree, a substantial amount of venture capital funding, or an extensive network of influential friends from prestigious institutions like Stanford. I am here to dispel those myths and tell you that none of it is true.
While I have been an entrepreneur for the majority of my life, I am nobody extraordinary. You won't find my name in Tech Crunch or featured in some Silicon Valley newsletter. Despite being an internet entrepreneur since the early days of AOL's iconic "you've got mail," I have never relied on venture capitalists for funding, never managed a payroll with more than five employees, and never majored in computer science.
Yet, I have been able to build profitable businesses that bring about the unscripted life I described earlier.
